LAND OUT LOUD is a multi-disciplinary multi-genre project that excavates creative expressions using land as metaphor, theme, catalyst.
Created by Shebana Coelho, New Mexico based playwright and director and Iman Aoun, Artistic Director, Ashtar Theatre.
Our first project will be a collaboration with ASHTAR Theatre's youth actors/writers to develop prose/performance pieces for LAND OUT LOUD: Palestine. In April 2014, we received funding from CEC ArtsLink - thank you, ArtsLink - to start the project.
In the future we envision LAND OUT LOUD in other regions/countries as well, producing work in different genres, with the overall aim of fostering cross-cultural collaborations, connections and art-making.
